Special Abilities


Fan Reversal

Hakuro's 5B has Guard Point properties, so if an opponent's attack should land while 5B is active you can press B again to cause a special throw to occur. So it is possible to counter your opponent's attack string if you time it right in between guarding.

Super Jump

Preformed by tapping down (2) then up (7/8/9). This allows you to jump higher than normal which can help you avoid certain attacks or give you good spacing in or out against your opponent.

Specials

Wind Fan (236+X)

Swing your fan and summons a gust of wind to rend your opponent. Depending on the button pressed the attack will alter:
  • A summons a single wind sheer to strike.
  • B delays the strike a bit.
  • C 2 strikes occur.

Air OK. All the air versions summon a downward angled wind.

Dancing Fan (623+X)

"Father!" (214+X)

Aruruu (riding Mukkuru) will come on screen and pounce the opponent. Depending on the button pressed the attack will alter:
  • A pounces from behind you, attacking directly in front of you.
  • B also pounces from behind you but extends out further.
  • C pounces from behind the opponent, a successful hit will thrust them toward you, opening up potential combos.


Supers

Butterfly Coax (2141236+AB)

Summon Eruruu to cast a spell which will give your attacks a poison attribute.

Tonburuchi Ointment (2364214+AB)

Summon Eruruu to cast a spell which will give you Super Armor for a limited time that will endure 1 attack (if thrown while in this state the armor will remain).

"Father, I'll assist!" (214214+AB)

An enhanced version of "Father!" If Emotion is High the number of hits increase.

Swift Fan Dance (236236+AB)

A series of strikes connecting in rapid succession, this is also the first part of the "Emperor" Splash Art.

Raging Winds (236236+AB - after Swift Dancing Fan)

Make two upward swings which summon two fierce winds to rend the opponent, the second part of the "Emperor" Splash Art.


Splash Art

Yatsumororo's Medicinal Bath (222+BC)

Summon Eruruu to cast a spell which will gradually recover your health (health will not rise over 50% total health -10,000-).

Emperor's Fan (236236236+BC - after Raging Winds)

The final part of the "Emperor" Splash Art, swing down and release a final decisive wind. This only uses a single bar of the Power Gauge as the entire attack requires 3 parts which spend the needed bars (Swift Dancing Fan>Raging Winds>Emperor's Fan).

Witsarunemitea (5B > 5A > 2 > 5C)

A swirling black vortex will surround you and if it touches your opponent Hakuro's full power is unleashed! You can not move but it covers a large vertical, this is probably best used as an anti-air cause even though it is active for a long period, you are left extremely vulnerable if it doesn't connect. As a trade off in the vortex is guarded while the opponent is in Low Emotion a Guard Crush will occur.
