Background


Special Abilities


Hayate

Normally Touka can only step when she double taps forward (66) however if one of her C attacks connect she can input 66 to preform a dash instead of a step. This is good to keep in on your opponent and continue your assault.

Short Hop

Preformed by tapping up (7/8/9). You will do a small leap, this can be used in a variety of ways since it's easier to control and faster than a regular jump.

Drop to the ground and do a new sweep kick.

A strong frontal slash. Long recovery.

2C

A sweeping slash that will trip the opponent.

A downward angled slash.

BC

An all out horizontal slash. Knock back. Wall bounce.


Specials

Kikyou (236+X)

A series of slashes that can be repeated up to four times, depending on the button pressed a delay will occur in between swings (A having the least and C having the most). Also carefully timing this slashes will get you a "Just" effect, Just slashes will increase the distance the opponent is knocked back, so they are key to connecting Raikou.

Hagetsu (j623+X)

A vertical slash that forms a complete circle around you.

Tsuji Kaze (646+X)

A command dash, the distance traveled varies on the button pressed:
  • A makes it appears you dash forward but you actually retreat back a bit from your original position.
  • B takes you a short distance forward (roughly 1/4 of the screen). Cross-up.
  • C covers about half the screen. Cross-up.

Suigetsu Tsuki (X - after Tsuji Kaze)

A follow up strike.

Touhai Uchi (214+X)

A strike using the reverse end of the blade, the speed of the attack varies depending on the button pressed (A being the fastest and C being the slowest).


Supers

Tsurane Hagetsu (j641236+AB)

An enhanced version of Hagetsu, make several circular slashes mid-air before landing.

Shinmyousen (412364+AB)

A counter move, you will take a defensive stance and any physical move that comes in contact will trigger the attack. This attack has alot of active frames and is instant but when you see Touka open her eyes and begin easing up on her stance, you will become vulnerable to attacks, so be warned this is a long cool down period.
  • Another word of warning, so long as the opponent doesn't attack you they can still move you around by running into you (ex. run you into a corner and get a free setup once the active frames pass).

Raikou Mueizan (2141236+AB)

Dash toward the opponent at a quick pace, upon successful hit you will dash back and forth between them, slashing with each pass. This move can be connected easily after sending the opponent in a knock back state, regardless of distance.


Splash Art

Hishou Zetsueizan (21412369+BC)

Cut the opponent several times in the air before coming down with a mighty and decisive slash. Anti-air. This move attacks at an angle, while it's possible to connect while the opponent is grounded, it's easier to have them in an airborne state and hit confirm it with a 5A.
